Humane Educational is about learning to respect life in our homes, communities and the environment. It encourages kindness and empathy for both human and nonhuman(animals), and promotes understanding of our many diverse habitats. Most importantly, Humane Educational strives to establish a sense of responsibility, making the world a better, more humane place.

Teachers

Humane Educational Programs provide lessons, presentations, and information for schools. All lessons are level specific and cover a range of topics. Information is provided in a non-bias atmosphere that encourages creativity and free thought.

School Leaders

Humane Educational Program facilitate in-services and trainings to help teachers incorporate Humane Education into their curriculum. Care is taken to show how information can be easily incorporated into current curriculum and fulfill state goals.

Community Groups

Humane Educational Programs present to a wide range of groups to encourage respect and responsibility. Groups are educated through a variety of exciting activities, and information can be shared on community service ideas to assist organizations in your neighborhood.

Interested Individuals

Humane Educational Program encourages individuals to become active in the field of Humane Education. Ideas are shared to help people of all ages and personalities become involved. If you are excited to share your love for life it's time to get involved!

Humane Societies

Humane Educational Program helps humane societies to establish educational program. Assistance can be provided to help determine objectives, develop brochures, provide lessons, and train educators. By working together we can make a difference!

Humane Education not only instills the desire and capacity to live with compassion, integrity, and wisdom, but also provides the knowledge and tools to put our values into action in meaningful, far-reaching ways.  

Humane Education enables us to find solutions that work for all by approaching human rights, environmental preservation, and animal protection as interconnected and integral dimensions of a healthy, just society. 

Humane Education includes 4 elements:

1. Providing accurate information about the issues of our time so that people have the information they need to understand the consequences of their decisions as citizens.
2. Fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, so that people can evaluate information and solve problems.
3. Instilling reverence, respect, and responsibility, so that people have the motivation to face challenges and to act with integrity.
4. Offering positive choices that benefit oneself, other people, the animals, and the Earth, and tools for problem solving so that people are empowered to create a more humane world.

Humane Education may well be the most revolutionary and effective effort that we as a society can undertake to create a peaceful and just world.
